•  We will set out to Berber country, through the chain of Dahar, across the mountainous region of Matmata, towards the area of Ksour.

•  The Ksours are fortified attics made by the Berbers and semi-nomads. There are many scattered across the plains of mountains, such as Ksar Hallouf, Ksar Hadada, Ksar El Ferch.

•  There are also many wonderful and culturally rich Berber villages such as Beni Kéhdèche, Ghomrassen, Guermessa and Chinini Tataouine, where impressive troglodyte houses can still be found. These particular dwellings are dug meticulously well into the tender layers of the mountain. There are also conventional houses with balconies and small yards that overlook the beautiful river plains.
