- After breakfast, we will visit the Museum of traditional arts “Dar Chraiet”.
- Then we will ultimately visit Kebili and DOUZ , the home of the Mrazigs (former shepherds from Tripoli in the 12 th century).
- Firstly, we will cross through the old Tritonis Lake (now a salted desert spanning over 5,000 km²). Then we will trail through miniature urban areas such as Nouieël, Blidet and Zaafrane. Upon arrival at Douz, we will enjoy a refreshing walk across the beautiful palm groves that covered in a golden coat of sand.
- After lunch, we will leave for Matmata to explore the troglodyte village. There we will find unique houses made of clay, which appear as spectacular lunar craters. This priceless setting was used in the “STAR WARS” film in March 1976. Then we will proceed through Mareth towards the Berbers' country (of which Tataouine is the capital) . Dinner and accommodation will be severed.
